Golden Pavilion, Kyoto.

When we left Movie Land, we went to the Golden Pavilion, which is aptly named. It was pretty, but I have a feeling it’s more awesome when it’s sunny out. The cold and the wet didn’t do much for my appreciation of the pavilion. I did see a postcard in the souvenir shop with a picture of the golden building during winter, and the gold looks stunning against the white snow. It just wasn’t spectacular in such dismal weather.
