These are the bowls Al found on our first day in Tokyo. He convinced me not to buy them yet, because it was our first day, and even though they were cheap (they were in the Japanese equivalent of a dollar store), there was no point spending much money yet, and then storing them… We decided it would be better to wait until the Sunday before we came home. We designated that day as our last-minute shopping day to pick up the stuff we wanted, based on how much money we had left. So on Sunday we found the store again, and I bought my bowls. But by then they didn’t have one of the ones I wanted; there was this cute black bowl with bunnies on it, and it was gone when we got back there. I was disappointed, but I found bunny chopsticks to make up for it.
