Transitioning back into East Coast time has been challenging, and I have so much stuff to catch up on. My summer class starts June 24, and I’m using that as my deadline to get totally caught up post-semester and post-trip. I’m hoping to have a full photo book of the trip done by then, too, but that’s pretty flexible. I want to do that right. Supposedly, with some of these places, you can produce multiple books, too, so I might even be able to make other people copies… We’ll see.

I’m thinking I’d like to do a day trip sort of thing in about a month, mostly to go do some photography. I’m not sure where I’ll go, though. St. Augustine is always nice, and I do need to run down there for a couple errands, but I go to St. Augustine fairly frequently, I think. Gainesville might be nice; it’s been a while since I went down there, and I’d like to go visit my godmother. I’ve never seen the beaches in Sarasota, and I hear they’re gorgeous… And I want to go with Al to Orlando sometime soon, too, so we can show his uncle all our pictures. That might be more of a weekend thing, though, and it will probably have to wait until after Mom and Dad get back from their trip to Minnesota. Savannah’s only a couple hours away, and I haven’t been up there in years. So that’s a possibility, too.

I’m also hoping to take a trip down to Tampa in a couple months to see Coldplay in concert if I can get tickets. The tickets themselves are pretty reasonable: $35. But Ticketmaster charges $22 in fees on top of the actual ticket price, so suddenly you’re looking at $60 for a ticket instead of $35, and that’s a little harder. Not sure how that’s going to work out.

At any rate, I’m going to continue posting here as I visit new and exciting places. I’ll probably update when I upload new pictures, as well. I may not be traveling out of the country again anytime soon, but I’ll still be keeping this thing updated, so stay tuned.
